In the first section of The Pulse, presenter Shereen El Feki is joined by guests Dr Saleem Abdulla and Dr Stephen Hoffman, two doctors who are spearheading the race to make malaria history through vaccination. The second half of the program looks at how a chemical called artemisinin, which is extracted from the ginghao plant, is providing new hope for millions of malaria sufferers.
