Every year in Bangladesh at least 30,000 children die through accidents and almost a quarter are drownings. But burns, traffic accidents and electrocution are also common causes of childhood deaths and injuries. Families regard these tragedies simply as a fact of life. This is the story of nine year old Shahnaz, whose cousin died while they were out playing in a local pond.
