Following two years of military rule, on the 29^th December 2008, Bangladeshis returned to the polls to elect a new, democratic government.   This election now offers new hope, not only to Bangladesh’s 150 million inhabitants, but also to a special group of people, who have never been able to vote in Bangladesh’s 37 year history –the Biharis.
