Alasdair Craig left school when he was just sixteen and had no real idea exactly what he wanted to do. He only had a couple of basic qualifications in English and art. It was not looking good. But Alasdair was lucky. He landed an apprenticeship with a firm of jewellers in Cambridge called Cellini and has since become a virtuoso diamond setter – one of the best in the country.
