Drunken Butterflies played on the main screen at the National Media Museum yesterday to an audience of 18-20yr old students - our target audience. And they loved it - we had lots of reaction to events on screen as the girls in the audience identified with our girls, saying they saw their own lives being played out before them. Especialy pleasing were the oohs and aahs when Isla got her ... (but that would be telling wouldn't it). There was plenty of praise from both boys and girls, and it was great to see that the film talked both to and for the girls.
With 3 of the cast (above) and diector Garry on hand to field questions and run a couple of workshops, we hope eveyone had as good a day as we did. And a big thank you to the National Media Museum and Bradford College.
